We will continue our tradition of a fun-filled Salsa Weekend.
CT Salsa Fest is a community-based, family-oriented event of dance
performances, professional dance instruction, live bands, DJs, and social
dancing catering to youths and adults.
New to the event this year:
Battle of the DJs & Dance Competition Sunday May 24th.

Like last year, the public can enjoy a party—FREE TO THE COMMUNITY— 3pm -5pm Saturday, May 23rd with music and
dance performances!

EVENT HIGHLIGHTS:
  • We will continue our tradition of a fun-filled Salsa Weekend, with dance showcases by known and new dance teams
    from around the world.

  • DJs spinning the best in today's hits and the greatest oldies in two separate ballrooms.
  • Battle of the DJs on Sunday May 24th
  • Over 20 Workshops a day - 10 hours (thats 2 days) of salsa workshops including Salsa On1, On2, Belly-dancing, Tango,
    Tricks & Lifts, Ladies Shines & Styling and much more for beginners to advanced, taught by top renowned instructors
    from around the globe.  
  • CT Salsa Fest Party - Social Dancing every night until 3:00am
  • Dance Competition Sunday May 24th. Qualify for the 3rd Annual New York International Salsa Congress Dance
    Championship.  Finals will be held at the 9th Annual NYC Salsa Congress in September.   Let's see who will be crowned
    the 2009 champions.
