What is a Private Lesson Jack & Jill??

The idea:

The spirit behind doing the private lesson Jack & Jill was to enable the maximum number of people to take a
“free” mini-private lesson with a top-notch professional.

How it happens:

When you check in at the registration desk you will have an opportunity to put your name into our “Student
Bucket”.

At 4pm on Saturday, names will be drawn.  Students will then select a name of their random professional out of
either the “WCSwing Bucket” or “Hustle Bucket”.  That student will then enjoy their free, 15 minute, private
lesson.  Each professional will get to work with 3 students during the hour.

What to expect:

Their will be approximately 10 professionals teaching on the dance floor at the same time.  Their goal will be to
give you pointers and guidance that might help a specific move or your general technique.  Light music will be
playing in the background which will be usable for either WCSwing or Hustle practice.

The Risks:

The #1 risk is that your name may not be selected as one of the 30 students paired up with a professional.

The #2 risk is that you get paired up with a teacher of the same sex (male student with male teacher / female
student with female teacher).  However, this is not a risk at all.  All of our instructors are exceptional in their
ability to Lead AND Follow.  If you feel uncomfortable with the instructor that is randomly selected, you may
forfeit your turn.

The Reward:

Working with any of the instructors for 15 minutes can change your life as a dancer.

The insight and experience they have can dramatically improve your dancing or take you to the next level.
