Choreographer – Mitzi Adams - received her B. F. A. in dance from Temple University and her M. F. A.
in dance at the University of Arizona.
Originally founded by Mitzi Adams in Arizona 1988, ADAMS COMPANY DANCE was reformed in 1991 in
New York City. Drawing on intuition and serendipity, Adams creates works rich with imagery that
concern deep matters of the heart. The benchmarks of her work are portrayed through pieces that
are athletically charged, dramatically sensitive, and comedically absurd. Her company has performed
across the U.S. and throughout NYC. Ms. Adams teaches extensively and facilitated many community-
based programs to promote dance for all ages. She is a certified Jin Shin Jyutsu practitioner, with
established practices in both New York and Connecticut and currently is Guest Artist at Western
Kentucky University's Dance Department, through the Spring of 2008

Dancers- Dana Fisch, Andrea Heininge and Molly Murphy


Choreographer– Dana Fisch - Choreographing has always been one of Dana's passions.  Her emotional
connection to the music inspires her to create movement that conveys her interpretation of the
musician’s intent.  Dana prides herself on creating work that is accessible to people of all ages using
her multi-disciplinary background to blend many different forms of dance to achieve a harmonious
blend on stage. Dana has set pieces on Push Factor Dance Company, NJTap Dance Ensemble and
choreographed the Off-Broadway rock opera The Capital Mall.  She is currently continuing to develop
her own work in the all-American dance styles of tap and jazz.
Jen Littlefield & Dancers

Choreographer- Jen Littlefield Dancing since age 8, Jen attended the University of Chicago where she
performed in and directed numerous dance productions. After graduating with her BA, Jen moved to
NYC to continue training and is performing in projects such as Broadway Bares, Have a Nice Life,
Common Grounds, Gemini The Musical, the New York Musical Theater Festival, and the opening
number for the Broadway Cares Benefit: Nothing Like a Dame. Other credits include a commercial for
Berkshire Bank, the music video for Sofia Strati’s single, This Can’t Be Love, and KTU's Disco Ball in
Atlantic City. She currently choreographs and teaches at the Brooklyn Dance Center.
Locust Contemporary Dance Works II

Locust Contemporary Dance Works II, under the direction of Jimmy Locust of Stamford Performing
Arts Center, the company provides a visual outlet for all walks of life and all levels of dance
appreciation while bringing a highly emotional flair to the arena of company work. The company takes
a serious approach to enlightening society with a straight forward look at jazz dance.
Artistic Director - Jimmy Locust –began his professional career as a principle dancer with the world-
renowned Gus Giordano Jazz Dance Chicago. Jimmy has worked in all facets of stage, film, television,
video and theater around the world. He has lent his talents to Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Paula
Abdul, Quincy Jones and Debbie Allen. Locust’s work spans The Grammys, Olympic Games ’96 Opening
& Closing Ceremonies and Academy Awards and much more. Internationally known, he has staged
projects such as Chile’s International Choreography Conference in Santiago, and Beijing’s top
Americanized show, titled “The Show”.
Sabrina Paxmann and Martin Plugge
Title- Swing Kids


Martin Plugge, dancing since 14, has been a finalist at the German Championships, the German Open
Championships and achieved titles as German, European- and World Champion for which he received
the Silver Bayleaf – the highest German sports award.
Sabrina Paxmann, dancing jazz and hip-hop since 9, is a multi-time Standard and Latin finalist, a
champion Country & Western dancer, a semifinalist at World Masters Championship and recently won
advanced divisions recently at Boston Showdown and Easterns. Together, in Germany, they are State
Champions in Standard & Latin American Dancing as well as German Cup Finalists. They relocated to
Connecticut in January and currently teach at the Fred Astaire Dance Studio in Ridgefield.
